CHARLOTTE, NC – Rosenberg USA is introducing a new line of high-efficiency backward curved roof fans featuring electronically commutated (EC) motors. They are available in seven sizes from 310 to 630 mm.

Rosenberg roof fans are used for ventilation of department stores, supermarkets, factories, swimming pools, kitchens, dining halls, warehouses, garages, farms and stables. They are suitable for mounting on any flat or angled roof.

These fans deliver airflow from 1,000 to 7,000 CFM, perfect for a wide variety of air movement applications. Rosenberg’s full range of sizes includes 310 mm, 355 mm, 400 mm, 450 mm, 500 mm, 560 mm and 630 mm fans.

Rosenberg EC roof fans are built to last. Sizes 310-450 have a weather-proof plastic impeller made of PA6 (polyamide) and sizes 500-630 have an impeller made of sea water resistant aluminum. Side panels of the fan housing are made of sea water resistant aluminum, as well, while the base frame and integral inlet cone are made from galvanized steel.

Rosenberg backward curved EC fans feature extended-life, low-temperature brushless DC motors that are controlled by maintenance-free electronic circuitry. Because of reduced mechanical content, the fans run cooler and quieter.

Rosenberg EC fans also offer built-in Modbus control capabilities. In applications involving multiple networked fans, Modbus is far superior to more-common primary/secondary fan operations. In a typical primary/secondary system, all fans operate at the same time and at the same speed. With Modbus, each fan can be programmed to come on line separately and at variable speeds, allowing a more effective balance between electrical usage and air movement requirements.

Their external rotor motors are 100 percent speed controllable. Thermal contacts provide standard motor protection. All are CE, UL and RoHS approved. Different input voltages are available.
