CHARLOTTE, NC – Rosenberg USA has introduced two new models of electronically commutated (EC) axial fans. Rosenberg’s expanded EC axial range now includes 500 and 560 mm fans that deliver maximum efficiency for specialized applications such as data center cooling. The new fans feature finned blades with a special pitch that increases fan efficiency. The 500 mm model can deliver up to 6,000 CFM of airflow. The 560 mm model offers a top airflow of 7,000 CFM. The finned blade design also helps reduce fan noise.
The complete Rosenberg EC axial line now comes in seven sizes including 500 mm (20 inches), 560 (22 inches), 630 (25 inches), 710 (28 inches), 800 (31.5 inches), 900 (35.5 inches) and 1000 mm (40 inches) with airflow of up to 19,500 CFM. They can be installed in any position and speed is 100% infinitely variable.
Applications for Rosenberg EC axial fans include use in data centers, heat pumps, condensers, cooling units, evaporators, and chillers.
All Rosenberg’s EC fans feature long-life, low-temperature “brushless” DC motors that are controlled by maintenance-free electronic circuitry. With reduced mechanical content, the fans run cooler and quieter, require little or no maintenance, and are easily speed-controlled. Rosenberg also offers customized products made specifically to meet a customer’s unique needs such as special finishes, voltages, or frequencies.
Rosenberg EC fans can be connected directly to a pressure sensor or a thermometer for closed-loop applications. Networking is simple using a computer with an RS485 interface. The latest Rosenberg EC fans are Modbus compatible.
