CHARLOTTE, NC – Rosenberg USA has introduced a new family of single-inlet Ecofit forward-curved centrifugal blowers with 115 or 230-Volt UL-Recognized EC motors. They are available in standard airflow/pressure, constant airflow and constant pressure models.
The new blower family is designated GREuG9 and features 160-mm x 62mm impellers. Standard airflow/pressure models offer airflow up to 364 CFM or up to 2.8 inches of static pressure. Constant pressure and constant airflow models provide airflow up to 280 CFM or up to 2.7 inches of static pressure.
Standard airflow/pressure models are used for traditional HVAC and equipment cooling applications.
Constant pressure blowers automatically adjust speed to maintain the same pressure at varying airflow conditions. This makes them ideal for enclosures or ducted applications in which the opening or closing of vents could significantly impact pressures within the system.
Constant airflow models maintain the same airflow at varying pressure, such as in air filtration systems or portable cooling units. Filter elements will change in resistance to airflow over time as they become obstructed by dirt and dust. The new blowers’ electronics will detect these changes and adjust motor power to maintain the proper level of airflow performance.
The electronically commutated (EC) motors in the new blowers allow for easy speed control, long life expectancy and low operating costs. They meet European ErP 2015 efficiency requirements.
Standard features include a black-painted steel scroll housing, galvanized impeller, ball bearings, IP44 protection, G2.5 balancing, Class F winding, and thermal protection. Finger guards are available as options.
