Rosenberg USA has expanded its high-efficiency E-Series backward-curved impeller line to include 12 models ranging from 12.4 to 22 inches in diameter. The E-Series is designed for high-flow and low to medium pressure applications like computer room air conditioning and air handling (CRAC/CRAH), energy recovery ventilation (ERV), energy recovery units (ERUs), box- and roof-fans.  It offers significant increases in energy efficiency and major reductions in operating noise levels compared to other backward curved fans.

The E-Series features special airfoil blades made from glass-fiber reinforced polyamide. Their unique design provides airflow and pressure performance similar to other backward curved fans, while increasing system energy efficiency by up to four percent and reducing the noise level by three to five dB(A). Outside dimensions are the same as standard models making them an easy upgrade in many applications.

E-Series fans are available with EC (electronically commutated) and AC external rotor motors and meet ErP 2015 energy efficiency requirements with all available motor combinations.  The size range includes 315 mm (12.4 in.), 355 mm (14 in.), 400 mm (15.75 in.), 450 mm (17.75 in.), 500 mm (20 in.) and 560 mm (22 in.) for both motor types.  AC models offer airflow from 1,400 to 8,800 CFM.  EC models provide output from 1,900 to 8,000 CFM.

Both are 100 percent speed controllable. Thermal contacts provide standard motor protection. All are CE, UL and RoHS approved. Different input voltages are available.

Rosenberg’s EC fans employ extended-life, low-temperature brushless DC motors controlled by maintenance-free electronic circuitry. Because of their reduced mechanical content, EC fan motors run cooler and quieter.

In addition to standard products, Rosenberg also offers engineering and manufacturing application assistance for custom air movement solutions.
