Rosenberg USA is introducing a new version of its popular ETRI 148V Series AC axial fan featuring an aluminum body that reduces weight by nearly 20% to .9kg, less than 2 lbs. The new fans outperform competitive models in airflow by 9% and life expectancy by 33% to 50%.

The ETRI 148V Series includes six models offering airflow from 104 CFM to 252 CFM, compared to 228 CFM maximum for competitive fans. Life expectancy is 80,000 hours at 40˚C, compared to 60,000 or 40,000 hours for lesser competitive fans. Operating temperatures cover a wide range, from -10˚C (14˚F) to 70˚C (158˚F).

Measuring 172mm x 150 mm x 38 mm, the fans are stackable and feature terminal connections. They are also available with flying leads. Ball bearings are standard. Sleeve bearings are optional. Speed sensor is also an option.

Maximum rated noise for the 148V Series is only 57 dBa. Standard models are offered in either 115 or 208-240 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz. They are approved to applicable UL, CSA and CE safety standards and some versions are GAM T1 listed or can be reinforced for non-standard applications. They are also available for 3-phase input power. Thermal protection is standard.

Rosenberg’s ETRI brand fans are recognized as performance leaders in equipment cooling, avionics, marine and railway applications. Shock and vibration protection, as well as salt spray protection, can be specified. Accessories include finger guards, filters, speed nuts and power cords.
