CHARLOTTE, NC – Rosenberg USA has introduced a new 500 mm sickle-blade axial fan offering a 5 dB(A) to 7 dB(A) decrease in operating noise levels compared to the previous fan model, depending on system airflow and static pressure. In addition to the dramatic reduction in noise level, the new fan delivers up to 5585 CFM with an improved mix of airflow and static pressure.
The new AKSD axial fan features aluminum blades with profiled winglets that meet the demand for lower noise and higher performance in the OEM refrigeration marketplace. Other applications include data centers, heat pumps, condensers, cooling units, evaporators, and chillers.
It is designed to the same dimensions with the same mounting pattern as previous models to simplify design-in or system upgrade.
The fan’s external rotor motor provides a space-saving, compact design and 100% variable speed control. The motors are built to protection class IP54 according to DIN EN 60034-5. The winding insulation corresponds to the thermal class F. In addition, the winding has standard moisture protection impregnation.
The new fan also meets all of the European Union’s ErP 2015 energy efficiency requirements.
