CHARLOTTE, NC – ETRI® 400 Hz and 28 VDC fans designed for the reliable cooling of critical avionic and marine electronic systems are now available from Rosenberg USA as axial impellers or forward curved blowers. These fans are designed and built with aluminum housings and long-wearing ball bearings for a service life of 35,000 hours or more based on stringent MIL or D0160 avionics standards.
Their rugged construction, low noise and high performance characteristics make the 400 Hz and 28 VDC fans ideal for on-board systems: cooling for system displays, power electronics, on-board computers, HVAC equipment, and cockpit defrosters. Also, the fans are an excellent solution for cooling ground systems or marine applications, including radar, shelter, and HVAC evaporators and compressors.
For marine applications, Rosenberg offers these ETRI 400 Hz and 28 VDC fans with many options that protect against shock and vibration, EMI, salt fog, and extreme temperatures and humidity.<
Available in sizes from 56 x 38 mm to 320 x 214 mm, the fans deliver airflows and static pressures from 4 to 2,055 cubic feet per minute and 0.25 to 16 inches of static pressure. They can be assembled with protection level IP 54 and compliance to the different levels of the DO 160, MIL HDBK 217, MIL 461, MIL 704, and MIL 810F standards, among others.
Nominal speeds range from 5,500 to 23,000 rpm. Some fans integrate a two-speed wiring. Standard input voltages are 115 Volt or 200/208 Volt 400 Hz, and 28 Volt DC applications. ETRI brand fans are manufactured by Rosenberg and are 100 percent inspected before shipping. Consult the factory for high and low airflow requirements.
Rosenberg also offers customized products made specifically to meet customers’ unique needs such as special finishes, voltages, or frequencies.
